We have a state of the art dyno facility. Gone are the days of saying ‘Well, it feels a bit better…’. We can find out exactly how well (or not!) a motor’s performing.
Our facility has a computer-controlled eddy current load facility so we can simulate the variable loads an engine experiences on a track. Using a dyno without this facility is nowhere near as successful. We use the latest software package for our Dyno. It’s the same package that’s used by Cosworth and Mercedes.
