Gearbox Classes

On short circuits, drivers in gearbox classes must be over 16. On long circuits, drivers must no longer be novices. In the 125 and 210 classes they must also be over 16 and in the 250 classes, over 17.

125 ICC ( UK)

Age: 16+
Minimum kart + driver weight: 182kg
Engine: 125cc reed valve engines with 30mm carburettor

125 Super

Age: 16+
Minimum kart + driver weight: 175kg on short circuit and 182kg on long circuit
Engine: 125cc reed or rotary valve engines

210

Age: 16+
Minimum kart + driver weight: 185kg on short circuit and 190kg on long circuit
Engine: Villiers 9E (or replicas) air-cooled 2-stroke engines

250 National

Age: 16+ (17+ for long circuit)
Minimum kart + driver weight: 195kg on short circuit and 200kg on long circuit
Engine: 250cc single-cylinder engines with 5 speed gearbox

Formula 250E

Age: 16+ (17+ for long circuit)
Minimum kart + driver weight with bodywork: 210kg
Engine: 250cc twin-cylinder + Rotax 257 + 125cc twin
