Running in a Biland Sa250

  1. We recommend you get temperature to 60º before leaving the pits and then drive at lower speeds for about 10 to 15 minutes. On track optimum water temperature should be 85º.

On returning to the pits check all engine and chassis nuts and bolts are tight. Check all fluid levels are correct.
  2. Check temperature is minimum 60º then go out for a further 15 minutes varying the speed, but keeping to about 70% of the throttle maximum available.

Return to the pits. Check everything is still tight and all fluids are still correct.
  3. Check temperature is a minimum of 60º when leaving the pits and repeat item 2.
  4. Check temperature is at least 60º when leaving pits then use the kart at varying speed, but using full throttle too.
  5. Return to the pits. Change the oil and refill. Check all fluids are correct level. Check all nuts and bolts throughout the kart including wheels and then use kart as normal.

Don't forget, we supply Biland engines, parts and spares – check out the Biland section of our online shop.
